Scott Haga was amazing. We were moving from West Virginia and he was willing to work with out of state clients. First he found the perfect house complete with a barn five acres and a dead end street. He handled everything for us. We bought the house long distance from videos. All of our paperwork was perfect. The entire transaction was handled via text email fax and wire transfers. He is kind attentive and really goes the extra mile. We love our new home and state all thanks to Scott. We have bought and sold property in 3 states from a center city condo to a small farm in a hollow and this was the easiest purchase ever. We think Scott Haga is terriffic.
Jeri Jones was our realtor and our experience was TERRIBLE!!! When we listed our property with her we had it leased out and when we listed it our renters decided to go ahead and move out. During this time Jeri called and said she had a cash buyer interested in our property and ask what we would take for it and she was told 199,000. She calls back and says that she couldn't get them up to 199,000 but they had got up to 195,000 but she didn't even call us with the offer to give us the option to accept or decline! She then said that she would call them back and tell them we would accept the 195,000 offer. She then calls us back and says they had changed their mind and were no longer interested. Jeri then says she wants to buy the property herself but that she would have to lease for 6 months and get her own financing after the first of the year. She then took it upon herself to tell our renters to not bother cleaning our carpets because she was taking it up and putting down hardwood. Then after holding the property up for 3 weeks she said she changed her mind and wasn't going to be able to buy it. I told her that I wanted to withdraw the property because it had been nothing but a MESS from the beginning! For her to get her signs and lets dissolve the relationship. Long story I know but hopefully this will save someone LOTS of problems and expense!!! She sent a withdrawal through email with a electronic signature and it was signed and returned! Be Careful who you trust with your property! She had added a stipulation that if our property sold in 180 days that she would receive commission. I then call her broker Jerry O'Neal and after we talked he told me that he would withdraw our property. We then find buyers on our own and 2 days before our closing date The Leading Edge Realty place a lien against our property wanting their commission from our sell. Mind you nobody from their company ever saw or spoke to our buyers! And our buyers were found after I spoke to the broker and was told it would be withdrawn! He talked a really good talk on the phone and I felt comfortable to trust him. Big Mistake!! I should have gotten the withdrawal in writing! Do Not Trust this company!!! I left multiple messages for the owner Danny Sullivan and Never received a call back from him!
