THANK GOD FOR CARING PEOPLE
Dr Martha Bargo and her staff are exceptional and the provide the best veterinarian service I have ever experienced! My recent experiences involved my 12 yr old cat Elvis. First Elvis nibbled on, unbeknownst to me, a poisonous house plant. Dr Martha provided emergency care and saved his life! Then recently Elvis got pancreatitis and Dr Martha again came to the rescue! When Elvis was not recovering as well as he should she referred me to a specialist, an internal medicine cat doctor for more diagnostic test with his specialized diagnostic equipment He confirmed that Dr Martha 's diagnosis and treatment was perfect and thankfully Elvis did not have a cyst on his pancreas. During this process I had to go out of town for the weekend and Janett, the vet tech came to my rescue! Janett allowed me to hire her to come to my house and give Elvis his required Rx, check on him and even clean his litter box because I knew Elvis would recover faster in his home environment. Then I had to go out of town again and was again able to hire Janett. She texted me the entire time and gave me updates which gave me extreme peace of mind. So if anyone can beat the services this staff provides or are willing to do to accommodate and treat our pets, I have never met! It just shows me our pets' health and recovery during an emergency are their top priority! That is the kind of vet and vet staff any pet owner desires! Again Martha and her Staff saved Elvis!!! I am so grateful!
My Yorkie, her name is Shea had been having some breathing problems since starting March of this year. I carried her to Boaz twice in one month, NO ANSWER, went to one in Albertville, $370.0 0 ish later, NO ANSWER, went to one in Guntersville 400.00 Ish LATER, NO ANSWER, so right about a month ago on a Thursday morning she was having a bad breathing sound and acting like she couldn't hear me nor see me. So I get dressed and I put her in the truck and as I was driving I was calling Vets offices. I called Spring Creek animal Clinic and they were busy at that time and referred me to call Pet Depot Animal Clinic, so I did told them the situation and they said bring her on in and we could try to get her comfortable till the Dr. got there. So I went on in and Dr Bargo came in the room where me and Shea were at and she asked me what was going on with her. I told her and I also had a video I made the night before, as she was looking she said she wanted to send it to her husband to see. Well he looked at it and said he never seen anything like it. So she got Shears blood work faxed to her from Albertville and she said nothing in her blood work looked that bad, so she went out and came back in there with me and Shea and said, Their is a Dr in Birmingham she wanted me to take her to because Shea is looking to her right and is lethargic by this time. She asked when could I take her and I said right know. She called and the earliest I could get in would be 4 PM and I said yes, because I thought my baby was going to die. So I go to Ronda's so she could drive and I could hold Shea. On the way I was praying, " Lord please let me find out what is going on ". So we get there early like Dr. Bargo suggested and not long after they take her to the back to let the Dr observe her. In an hour or so they called us to come in the room and he said it could be one of 3 things, tutorials on brain, meningitis, or encephalitis. He put her on 2 prednisone and an antibiotic. He said if the meds help that meant it wasn't a brain tumor. Well by the next afternoon me and Shea went to Ronda's and she couldn't believe how much different she was acting. So I followed up with Dr. Bargo after she finished her antibiotic and she could not believe it was the same dog as to what she had seen weeks prior. She called the Dr. In Birmingham and told him how much different she was and he wanted her to take one more round of antibiotics so she did and he wanted her to take only 1\2 a tablet once a day because of her liver. So I tried it and she would priss around like she couldn't hear me nor see me. So I went back to 1/2 in morning and 1/2 at night. To make this story come to a close, When I left her office that day I didn't think I would be bringing my baby back home, but with Dr. Bargo's help she is a totally different little girl. Thank you Dr Bargo and your sweet staff for everything ya'll did to help me with babygirl. Oh yeah, when I left her office I was crying and pretty upset but she gave me a hug with tears in her on eyes.
You can tell she really cares about your baby, and she cares about their owners. She is ABSOLUTELY GREAT
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU AND ESPECIALLY YOU DR. BARGO.
Dr Martha has been our vet for over 8 years and two dachshunds so far. She takes special care of our current furbaby, Penny. It is easy to see how much of an animal lover she really is by the way she goes out of her way to care of them! I highly recommend them!
I can't say enough about her, DR. MARTHA BARGO IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST VETERINARIAN IN MARSHALL COUNTY.
