Name on sign is Regal Inn. Made reservation from Google Maps thinking this was Super 8. Keys imprinted Super8. Confusing.
This hotel was, while fairly clean when we arrived, was NOT what we expected. When I made the reservation, I SPECIFICALLY requested handicapped accessibility. The room is not NOT what I was on would consider. "handicapped accessible! The bathroom door will not allow a walker to pass through, let alone a wheelchair. The shower has no facilities for safe entry or seating, and absolutely NOTHING to make the shower floor slip resistant.
At the late hour we arrived, finding other accommodation s would have been very. difficult. I can plainly see that the management of this hotel has NO CLUE what "HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE" means!
Staff does not understand wnglish, tried to ask simple question and only got smiles, nods, and ok's. Toilet was broken wifi sucks. Other than that, it was ok I guess.
Ok for what it is. Had some ants, a little dirty but ok.
Located right off of 431 in Guntersville this motel is easy to get to and from. Many accommodations are provided as well as the locale giving you many options for a meal. Well kept area and great environment.
I have stayed in SUPER 8 hotels in various parts of the country, and, by far, this one is the worst!
Room is fine. Staff very courteous. Price modest. For on the road overnight quite pleased. No hot breakfast; closer to contential breakfast.
